Ron was very helpful and found a good shirt that fit very quickly.... read more  If you're ever in a jam and need a shirt or tie or golf shirt...Ron's your guy. Someone told me downtown San Diego no longer has dept stores so this was the closest I could find to Gaslamp area.  I recommend calling ahead.  The space is small but when you're in a jam this will work nicely for you. Looks like a lot of tailoring goes on here as well. Might just get my next suit here.

  •   I'm preparing to retire out of the Navy and needed a couple of good suits to interview in.  The few that I had dusted off either didn't fit or had... read more moth holes (yes they actually DO exist).  After a couple of frustrating experiences at national chain stores I found Ron's shop and what a great experience.  He set me up with two Jack Victor suits and charged me less than what they advertise them for at Nordstroms on sale.  His experienced eye also identified that one shoulder sits lower than the other (torn rotator cuff) which would make any suit fit funny and tailored the suits to fit perfectly.  I can't say enough good things about Ron, an absolute pleasure to deal with and has all of my future business.

There is no substitute... read more for a shirt or coat that fits you perfectly. I have owned Armani and Hugo Boss and having Ron make me a suit to MY body is head and shoulders over what Nordstroms or Macy's can provide. Ron also provides clothing in store in case you need a coat or shirt (or tie and belt) that day.

    Pricing is fair for the high quality you receive and the customer service and tailoring is stellar.

Awesome establishment! Mr. Ford is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Customer service is fantastic. I have been a customer for many years. Highly recommended if you are looking for the best quality style.

Came into town for a conference and left my blazer. Was able to swing through and get a great one in about 10 min! Not a huge selection but definitely has great stuff with a boutique vibe. Owner was awesome to work with!

Highly recommend this store, Ron was wonderful to work with! We were in town for a wedding & forgot a suit. We came into Ron’s store and he provided amazing service, found us a great suit, and called ahead to the tailor for us so we could get it hemmed same day.

I felt compelled to write this review because our experience with Ron was beyond outstanding!I was here visiting San Diego for my 5th Anniversary with my wife. I had forgotten to bring some nicer clothes. I went to Ron's store.We actually were there before Ron. We actually watched him walk down the driveway.He directed us upstairs. He was very knowledgeable and knew we were in a hurry.I finally have my favorite shirt, jacket and pants.Regardless of weather you live in San Diego or are visiting and you need some quality clothing.Go here for sure!!!Thanks Ron

This place is amazing. I forgot my suit coming to a wedding over a weekend, and they were able to get me fitted within the day for a reasonable price for a wonderful suit. I can't give them enough stars

Ron Stuart Men's Clothing is alive and well. They moved to 1st Avenue. I had a couple of custom shirts made and they are of exceptional quality and fit. I always enjoy my time when visiting with the owner Ron Ford. He is a gentleman through and through and I appreciate his style guidance.
